Google needs no Introduction as Google Search, also referred to as Google Web Search or simply Google, It provides us with many Mobile Apps,Products and Services to make our work easy and fast.Google was launched on August 1996 Larry Page and Sergey Brin launched Google on Stanford University's network. Initially known as BackRub.


The word Google does not have a full form. The word is generated from a word "googol" which means a huge number.


There are many search engines on the Internet eg.Yahoo, Bing,Baidu,Yandex , DuckDuckgo etc.


But Google is the most used search engine on the World Wide Web across all platforms, with 93% market share as of June 2019, handling more than 5.4 billion searches each day.& 2.54 trillion searches a year.

Google Search Tools & Services:

1.Google Search: It was launched in 15 September 1997.It is available in 149 languages all across the world.

2.Google + : A Social-Networking Service and Google's  core product. Created By Google in 2006 Closed in 2019 In April
.
3.Google Images: Used to search images, Free Images,vector Images,PNG images etc the link text pointing to the image and text adjacent to the image. Search based on an uploaded images.It was launched in July 12, 2001


4.Youtube: Video application. Acquired by Google in 2006.YouTube is a source of entertainment for millions people around the world. It was launched in February 14, 2005.

5.Google News: It provides News in more than  35 different languages. It was launched in September 2002.



6.Google Finance:
 Searchable US business news, opinion, and financial data. Features include company-specific pages, blog search, interactive charts, executives information, discussion groups and a portfolio.It was Launched in March 21 ,2006.

7.Google store:It was launched in December 12 2002.Searches online stores, including auctions, for products

8.Google Shopping: It was launched in May 31 ,2012.Searches online stores, including auctions, for products

9.Google Product Search:It was launched in April 18, 2007.Searches online stores, including auctions, for products.



10.Google Books:
 Search engine for the full text of printed books. The content that is displayed depends on arrangements with publishers, ranging from short extracts to entire books. It was Launched in October 2004.

11.Google Patents: Search engine to search through millions of patents, They include drawings, claims and citations,Pages ,Logos etc. It was Launched in December 14,2006.

12.Google ScholarSearches the full text of scholarly literature across an array of publishing formats and scholarly fields. Includes virtually all peer-reviewed journals. It was Launched in November 20, 2004.

13.Google Dataset Search: Searches data repositories and local and national government websites for datasets. It was Launched in September 5,2018.


14.Google AlertEmail notification service that sends alerts based on chosen search terms, whenever it finds new results. Alerts include web results,news and videos etc.It was Launched in August 6,2003.



15.Google AssistantVoice-based Search Service and AI Assistant. It was Launched in May 18th,2016.

16.Google Custom Search: (formerly Google Co-op): Creates a customized search according to the preference & experience for a website. It was launched in October 23,2006,It was  Renamed from Google Co-op, which in turn replaced Google Free Search.in October 24,2006.

17.Google Flights: Used to search for flights from many airlines to many destinations, offering tools such as price comparisons and travel recommendations.It was launched in September 13,2011.

18.Google Groups:Users can join a group, make a group, publish posts, track favorite topics, write a set of group web pages updatable by members and share group files. It was launched in February 12, 2001.


19.Google Translate:It can Translate in more than 109 languages in a easy way.Foreign languages as well as local. It was launched in April 28th,2006.

20.Google Slides:Google Slides, Help People To Make Presentations, There are Variety of features, Which Will Help You Make a Presentation.like powerpoint.It was launched in 9th March 2006

21.Google Documents: Google Documents are Documents Used for Buisness, Or Creating Powerpoint Presentation .It was launched in 9th March 2006

22.Google Forms :Google Forms Are used for Creating An Online Form so that when visitors visit site they put some information like email,comments,contact no.etc.,It was launched in February 6th 2008.


23.Google Spreadsheets: It was launched in June 6, 2006
Google Sheets originated from XL2Web, a web-based spreadsheet application developed by 2 Web Technologies, which was acquired by Google in 2006 and turned into Google Labs Spreadsheets.

24.Gmail :This was launched 1st April 2004. It is the most preferred mail on the Internet. It is a free email service developed by google. Users can access Gmail on the Internet.

25.Google Drive: It was launched in 24 April,2012. Google Drive allows users to store files on their servers, synchronize files across devices, and share files.

26.Google Classroom: It was launched in 12 August 2014. Classroom is a free web-based platform that integrates your G Suite for Education account with all your G Suite services, including Google Docs, Gmail, and Google Calendar.etc.

27.Google Hangouts : It was launched in 15 May 2013.Google Hangouts to keep in touch with one person or a group. Available on mobile or on desktop, start making video or voice calls today.It is like WhattsApp.

28.Google Play : It was launched on 22 October 2008..Play Store is Google's official pre-installed app store on Android-certified devices. It provides access to content on the Google Play Store, including apps, books, magazines, music, movies, and television programs. People can download any apps paid or free from the play store.

29.Google Chrome : It was launched on 2nd September 2008.It is a cross-platform web browser developed by Google.It helps to search contents in the Web typing the keyword to find all the related word in the world wide web it can be images,Blogs websites,books etc.

30.Google Trends:It used to search Trending Keywords that is frequently searched in the search Engine relative to all the  sites total search volume over a given period of time.it was launched in 11th May 2006.

31.Blogspot/Blogger: Blogger is a Blog publishing Platform that allows many users to write a blog like an article about a topic called as posts.It was developed by Pyra labs,which was bought by Google in 2003.it is now hosted by google.Now it is generally accessed from subdomain of Blogspot.com



Google Services:


1.Google Ads/Google AdwordIt is a medium to advertise in the Internet system in which advertisers bid on certain keywords in order for their clickable ads to appear in Google's search results. It was launched on 23rd October 2000.

2.Google Marketing Platform/AnalyticsWith Google Marketing Platform you can: Deliver faster & smarter marketing. It is an unified advertising and analytics platform that gives a stronger collaboration for the marketing teams by building on existing integrations between DoubleClick and the Google Analytics 360 Suite. It was launched on 14 th November 2005. 

3.Google Ad Manager: It is an ad management platform for many publishers who have large & significant direct sales. Ad Manager provides granular controls and supports It also multiple ad networks, including AdSense, Ad Exchange, and third-party networks. etc To manage ad revenue that mainly comes through direct deals from buyers or from many other sources.It was launched in August of 2008.It was rebranded in 2018. Then, in 2019Google Ad Manager switched to a first-price auction process, where the highest bid sets the final price of each ad & now it works in auction process.
4.AdMob: It is  a free platform that gives you a way to earn money by displaying targeted ads alongside your app content. You can show relevant and engaging ads to your app users and even customize the look and feel of ads to match your app. It was launched on 10th April 2006.

5.Google AdsenseIt was Launched on 18 th June 2003. It provides a way for publishers to earn money from their online contents AdSense works by matching ads to your site based on your content and visitors. The ads are created and paid for by advertisers who want to promote their products. Since these advertisers pay different prices for different ads, the earnings also differs accordingly.

6.Google Ad Grants: It works just like Google Ads i.e online advertising,by displaying your message to people who are searching for nonprofits like yours. If you're a qualifying nonprofit, you'll receive $10,000 USD in in-kind Google Ads advertising every month. It was launched in 2003.
 
7.Google Tag Manager : It was Launch on 1st October 2012. It is a  tag management system (TMS) that allows you to quickly and easily update measurement codes and related code fragments collectively known as tags or you can say Keyword that is most frequently searched on your website or mobile app /youtube etc.

8.Google My Business: It was launched on June 2014 . It is a  free and easy-to-use tool for businesses and organizations to manage their online presence acrossthe Internet & Google, including Search and Maps. If you verify and edit your business information, you can both help customers find your business and sell them your product & services fast.

9.Google consoleIt is a free service offered by Google that helps you monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot your site's presence in Google Search results. You don't have to sign up for Search Console to be included in Google Search results, but Search Console helps you understand and improve how Google sees your site.It basically is like a detail path shown to Internet to find your content in the Internet.It was launched on Until May 20th, 2015 the service was called Google Webmaster Tools.In January 2018, Google introduced a new version of the search console, with changes to the user interface. In September 2019, old Search Console reports, including the home and dashboard pages, were removed.and advance console came into existence.


Google Mobile Apps


1.Google map :It was launched on 8th february 2005Google Maps was first launched for desktop as a new solution to help people “get from point A to point B.” Today, Google Maps is used by more than 1 billion people all over the world every month to find the location.

2.Google nowIt was launched on 9th July 2012The service became available for iOS on April 29th, 2013, without most of its features. It is an intelligent personal assistant made by Google. It first supported on the Google Nexus smartphone.

3.Google + Local : It was launched on 2012.
Local search is the use of specialized Internet searches throughout all search engines allow users to submit geographically constrained searches against a structured database of local business listings etc.

4.Google Play BooksIt was launched on 6th December 2010. It has more than three million titles available, making it the "largest ebooks collection in the world". At the time of launch,on 2010 the service was partnered with 100 independent booksellers, while the number of publishers was 5,000.

5.Google Wallet /Google pay : Google wallet was launched on 26th May 2011. Google Pay was launched  On September 18th, 2017, Google launched an UPI-based app Tez in India. On August 28th 2018, Google rebranded Tez to Google Pay. On January 8th, 2018, Google announced that Google Wallet would be merged into Android Pay, with the service as a whole rebranded as Google Pay.which is the best mode of payment today.
6.Google VoiceIt was launched on 11th May 2009. It is a voicemail service from Google that enables users to send free text messages, customize their voicemail, read voicemail text transcript, and more. Google's voicemail service, which previously required a Google Voice invite code to setup, is now available for free to all Gmail users.

7.Google Search App : It was launched on 15th September 1997.

8.Google Shopper: It was launched on 12 th December 2002. Here customers could compare prices of products listed on multiple outlets.

9.Google Goggles :It was launched on 7 th December 2009The app was officially discontinued on August 20th 2018. This was an Image recognition Mobile app.
